BIG MAT BOUT AT TOWN HALL
Earl McCready, British Empire champion, and Ted "King Kong" Cox will meet in the professional wrestling bout which is to be staged at the Wellington Town Hall tonight. This bout is one of tho most imoortant of the season, as Cox has proved himself able to extend the Canadian more than most wrestler* can do. His blending of the rugged tactics in which he specialises with shrewd ringcraft and skilfully applied holds makes him a highly formidable proposition, even apart from- his exceptional strength and toughness. Cox showed that he was in first-class form when he met Clarke, and it" was significant that the latter lasted less than half an hour with. him. On Saturday night Cox moved further ahead by beating Blomfield at Auckland. McCready is also wrestling particularly well this year, and everything points to a really great match. In addition to amateur greliminaries there will be a bout etween two local professionals, Syd Scott and G. McDonald,
