JENKIN BEATS PARRIS

DUNEDIN, July 16.
Showing very much improved form, Stan Jenkin, lOst 7Jib, outfought Billy Parris, lOst 4ilb, last night, the referee stopping the contest in the tenth round.
Jenkiii had the better of the fight practically throughout and gave a fine exhibition of two-handed boxing. On several occasions he had Parris down, and towards the end of the bout the Wellington man was almost out on his feet.
