WAIMATE, July- 15. The Waimate Hunt Club's Annual Steeplechase Meeting was held in fine, sunny weather, there being a good attendance. The track was in good order. The totalisator handled £5296 10s, against £4781 10s last year. j A judicial inquiry was held after the running of the Hunt Cup, in which' Quinopal passed "the judge a head in I front of Panara. The committee's finding concerning interference of Quinopal with Panara was that the judge's placings of first and second be reversed, but that the rider of Quinopal be exonerated from all blame.
