SYDNEY. July IS.
It is reported from Perth that tha Prime Minister and the Minister ol Defence will meet the Federal -Labour advisory committee, which comprises the Federal Labour executive, the Federal Parliamentary Labour Party, and the Australian Council of Trade Unions, on Friday to consider the position that has arisen regarding the decision to oppose the national register. Meanwhile, the coalminers* central council has decided on a one-day strike tomorrow in all mines throughout Australia as a protest against the register.
