AT THE NINETEENTH

SHANDON GOLF CLUB DANCE

Preceded as it was by several -dinner and cocktail parties, the dance given in the Mayfair Cabaret last night by the Shandon Golf Club was assured of success almost before it began. A very large crowd of golfers was present, and their numbers were supplemented from time to time by visitors from other dances in the city, who made a brief appearance and stayed for several dances before returning to their original parties.

Dr. D. N. Isaacs, president of the club, received the guests with his wife, who was wearing a graceful frock of. petunia georgette. Miss B. Souler (women's club captain) wore a fullskirted frock of patterned taffeta. Others on.the committee'were Messrs. W. R. Stuckie, P. J. Burke, and A. J. Robson, the hostesses being Mrs. P. J. Burke, Mrs. D. F. Sutton, Mrs. F. M. Martin, and Miss R. Hodgins (secretary)*
