SPEEDING CASES
UPPER HUTT COURT
Offences against the traffic regulations were dealt with by Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., in the Upper Hutt Court today. Most of the breaches concerned speeding on the main roads through the borough.
Ivy May Beard (Wellington) was
fined £3 and costs for exceeding the speed limit, and £2 and costs for cutting in with insufficient clearance.
For exceeding the speed limit in the borough. Frederick Henry Cocker (Trentham) was fined £3 and costs, Francis Roy Wilkins (Wellington) £2 15s and costs, and Robert Ernest Free (Miramar) and Jeffrey Parker (Napier) £2 and costs each.
Driving at a speed which might have been dangerous cost Harold James Kelly (Wellington) £3 10s and costs.
For failing to keep as far as possible to the left of the centre-line of the road. Richard Williams (Wellington) was fined 30s and costs, and Neils Peter Eriksen (Napier) £1 and costs.
Mervyn Reardon (Trentham) and Henry John . Rennie (Wallaceville) were each fined £1 and costs for cj^cling at night without lights.
For driving a car without a licence, Earl Stanley Hai-good (Northland) was fined 10s and costs.
