DELAY TO BILL IN COMMONS

It is assumed in Parliamentary circles that in view of the congestion of business in the House of Commons it will not be possible to make further progress before the summer adjournment early in August with the Criminal Justice Bill, a major penal reform measure which was introduced early in the session by the Home Secretary, Sir Samuel Hoare.
