RUGBY LEAGUE
The weekly meeting of the Wellington Rugby League Board of Control was held last evening.
The Inangahua Rugby League wrote asking for a game in 'Wellington, but the decision was deferred until later in the season.
Petone were declared the winners of the senior reserve grade championship, and with it the Scon Brown Cup.
Miramar were declared the winners of the junior championship, and will hold the P. J. Donovan Cup until next season.
It was decided to defer the playing of the denior championship final between Petone and Central until Saturday, July 15. /
From next Saturday all grades will commence a competition ofc one complete round for Board of Control trophies .after which the knock-out competition will commence. ; - -
