MAY BE RESUMED

ANGLO-GERMAN INDUSTRIAL

TALKS

(Received June 14, 9 a.m.)

LONDON, June 13,

Both the Federation of British Industries and the German industrialists are anxious to resume trad talks, and German representatives have been invited to London to discuss the possibility of reopening discussions in the autumn.

It is believed that the Government welcomes the step.

Lord Derby is to open an advertising convention, at which the Secretary of Overseas Trade, Mr. R. S. Hudson, will represent the Government. A nationwide campaign is being prepared in expectation of a trade boom far outstripping previous records.
