EASY-TO-MAKE TOY CHEST
A large wooden box may be converted into an excellent toy chest for n small child It only needs a little ingenuity. A lid should be made of plywood, and if a plywood partition is fixed inside the box the contents will be easier to keep tidy, ' A piece of strong cloth tacked inside
the lid will take books and papers and many other flat oddments.
With small I'ubber wheels or castors and a cord to pull it along to wherever i - is required, the box is ready for a coat of paint, and the child's name cut out on shiny paper and stuck on.
The lid may be finished off with a smart handle, which may be made of strong webbing, or bought for a few pence.
