A LARGE ATTENDANCE
The Wanganui Jockey Club's Winter Meeting was concluded^ in showeryweather yesterday before a large holiday attendance. Light showers did not affect the going. The totalisator handled £26,505, there being np corresponding day last year, when the meeting was held in mid-May, -and the investiments for the two days were £46,847, compared with £40,842 10s last year, an increase of £6004 10s.- .
