'Menzel (Germany), 2-6, 6-1, 5-7, 6-2, 9-7. The crowd disputed many decisions and Menzel showed his displeasure at their tactics. ; H. Henkel (Germany) was leading A. Bawarowski (Poland), 6-4, 6-2, 1-1 when bad light stopped play. India v. Belgium, at Brussels,—Ghaus Mohammed' (India) beat C. Naeyaert (Belgium), 10-8, 6-2, 6-1; A. de Lacroix (Belgium) beat Y. R.
