Although fortunes fluc'suated for the greater part of the game, Johns/bnvllle, on their home ground, finished up wifa a good win over St. Patrick's College Old Birj/s by 25 points to 11. Whenever they got thef ball the St. Patrick's backs showed-up with/speedy, clean passing. In the first spell particularly they were often in full flight. Jofc/msonville showed solid defence and, gradual^ wearing down their opponents, they took charge of the game in the later stages and gained their first win of the season. ■■: ;
