MIRAMAR'S WIN
Miramar did the major share of the. attackIng in their match with Marist at the Polo Ground, although their-, opponents were lively enough in the first spell. Early in the game. Barnao kicked a penalty goal for Marist; 3-0. Miramar put up a long siege on the Marist line, and eventually Grint scored. 3-3. Play was fairly even for -the rest of the spell. Miramar were on top for nearly the whole of the second half, and for a long period Marist did not cross the half-way line. Baird got a good try for Miramar with a run down the line. 6-3. Marist attacked towards the end,, but were forced back, and the game ended with the score: Miramar 6, Marist 3.
