RUGBY LEAGUE
At a recent meeting of the Board of Control of the Wellington Rugby League it was decided to start senior and reserve grade competitions on Saturday. The junior competition games cannot be commenced before April 29.
C. Johnston was granted a transfer fr.om St. George to Miramar. The Petone Club was granted permission to enter a team in the junior grade. A total of 37 former union players were granted registration.
