GARDINER—WILDERMOTH.
The marriage was solemnised recently at the Berhampore Baptist Church, of Nancy May, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Wildermoth. Berhampore, to Allan C. Gardiner, son of the Rev. and Mrs. C. D. Gardiner. Oxford, Christchurch.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin, the bodice and sleeves being trimmed with tiny buttons and loops, and the Peter Pan collar with sprays of orange blossom. A hand-embroidered veil was worn with a halo of orange blossom, and she carried a shower bouquet of white carnations, chrysanthemums, and maidenhair fern.
The bride was attended by three bridesmaids. Miss Gladys Wildermoth (sister), Miss Joyce Gardiner, Oxford (sister of the bridegroom), and Miss Betty Peek. They were gowned alike in white organdie sprigged, with tiny pink and blue flowers and worn over pink taffeta. The frocks had full skirts, Peter Jart collars, and large puff sleeves, and haloes of pink flowers were worn. Their bouquets were of pink carnations and maidenhair fern.
The best man was Mr. Laurie Bade, the groomsmen 'were Messrs. Trevor Smallbone and Arthur Nees, and the ushers Messrs. Keith Patience and Hugh Nees.
During the signing of the register Mrs. H. Patience sang "Thanks Be To God."
The reception -«as held in the Masonic Hall, Berhampore, the guests being received by the bride's mother, who wore a brown ensemble, with a matching hat.
Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Gardiner left for the north, the bride wearing a mossgreen tweed costume with a brown hat and accessories. Their future home will be in Mamaku.
