MAN KILLED
PINNED UNDER TRACTOR
BRIDGE COLLAPSES

GISBORNE, This Day.
Thomas Charles Hutton, an employee at the Gisborne Box Company's mill at Waitangirua, was killed instantly late yesterday afternoon when a tractor he was driving crashed through a bridge. The crash was heard a few minutes after Hutton had left the mill and an investigation showed that the bridge had collapsed. Hutton was pinned beneath the tractor.
