ONE MAN KILIED
TWO INJURED
CAR CRASHES DOWN HILLSIDE

GISBORNE, April 19,
A man was killed and two were injured when a car containing three V.M.C.A. secretaries at railway camps crashed down a 60-foot hillside threaquarters of a mile north of Paritu, at 4.15 p.m. this afternoon.
The man killed was Ronald Middle-ton-Taylor, single, secretary at No. 4 camp, V.M.C.A. The injured are J. Kennedy, married, secretary at the Kopuawhara V.M.C.A., shock, arid S. Hodges, married, secretary at the Paritu V.M.C.A. Hodges is in the Cook Hospital, but his injuries ace not serious.
The car was returning from Gisborne, Hodges being the driver. The accident occurred when the car was approaching a corner.
