RAILWAY REVENUE
MR. MACKLEY'S FORECAST

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
The New Zealand Railway's net revenue for the year ended March- 31 will be £700,000, and the gross revenue over £9,000,000. This forecast was made today by the General Manager (Mr. G. H. Mackley), who left on a holiday trip to Waimate and Pembroke. "All indications are that the Minister's anticipations will be realised," said Mr. Mackley. "The figures will show a record year of operation."
