Shanghai reports that the Japanese* claim to have occupied Kuling.
The Tokio correspondent of "The Times" says that the Japanese have Occupied Putsinhwa, south-east of Nartchang, where they are pushing oa after having crushed the Chinese under! General Lo Cho-ying.
The Japanese claim to have killed 3500 Chinese during an offensive south of the Yangtze-kiang. Confused batGea are raging elsewhere.
The Japanese assert that Bussiaa artillerymen are helping the Chinese offensive in South Hansi.
