ELEVEN CHARGES
A seaman, Robert Charles Howell Green, aged 24, appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today, on eleven charges. To a charge of breaking and entering, by day, a dwelling-house in Hataitai Road, and committing theft, he pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court at Dunedin for sentence. On another charge of breaking and entering and theft at Dunedin he was remanded to appear at Dunedin on April 26. Nine charges of theft were preferred, and on one the accused was convicted and sentenced to six months' imprisonment, to be cumulative upon a sentence he is at present serving. On the other charges he was convicted and discharged.
