ASSAULT ALLEGED
The man alleged to have been assaulted was in hospital with ten stitches in his head, said Sub-Inspector D. J. O'Neill in the Magistrate's Court today, when John Burns, a seaman, aged 24, was charged, before Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., with assaulting Henry Meech so as to cause actual bodily harm. A remand until Friday was granted.
