EYES ON SPAIN
Although the-war in Spain has only just ended there are people who see the chance of making money when the country settles down. The possibilities of the theatrical business in Spain were mentioned by Mr. E. Sheldon, who arrived by the Awatea yesterday. Mr. Sheldon is manager for a Chinese magician, Chang, and his revue company. He said that Chang had been touring in Europe for 25 years, and he was going to Portugal and Spain from New Zealand. Why Spain? he was asked. Well, he replied, the magician remembered a season he played once in South America after a revolution. It was the most successful he had ever had and he believed when Spain was being rebuilt there would be good business there too.
