REJECTED BY PALESTINE
(Received April 12, 11 a.m.) JERUSALEM, April 11. A thousand Jewish refugees are afloat in the Mediterranean, without a country, after the refusal of their admission to Palestine.
The Greek steamer Assami attempted to smuggle in 200 Jews and was seized. This is the third shipload that has been turned back during the Passover festival.
