PALESTINE SETTLEMENT
BRITISH PROPOSALS
CONFERENCE IN CAIRO

The Cairo correspondent of the British United Press says that the arrival of representatives of the Palestinian parties is regarded as a new move to settle the Palestine dispute. It is believed that a round table conference will be called shortly in an endeavour to reach a rapid solution in view of the international situation. , „
It is stated that in response to an invitation by the Egyptian Government Dr. Chaim Weizmann, President of the Jewish Agency, arrived from Palestine and had a conference with the Premier. The Egyptian Ambassador in London, who has arrived in Cairo, is reported, to have brought fresh proposals from Britain! The Emir Feisal and other Palestinian leaders are at present in Cairo, and an Iraki delegate will arrive on April 12.
Reuters' Cairo correspondent says •that Saudi Arabian, Iraki, and Egyptian delegates are „to meet the Premier on April 12 to discuss suggestions by Britain.
