Sir, —Thanks for the leading article in "The Post" on the Social Security scheme as a gamble. During the election period Labourites skitted, laughed, and ridiculed Mr. Hamilton over his scheme of financing homes for newlymarried couples. Now what have Labour supporters to say when all over 16 have to be taxed and registez-ed? I have heard complaints already by women Labourites, as many women earn small incomes apart from their husband's and children's wages.—l am, etc.,
