MANOR PARK CLUB

Excellent conditions prevailed for the second day of the Manor Park Easter tournament, and two cards of 7 up were handed in for the fourball bogey, by C. Allan (8) and A. R. Cor-li-son (11) and L. Linley (15) and J. R. Wilson (8), the former pair winning on the count-back.

The first rounds of the flights were played during the afternoon, with the following results:—

Easter Championship.—D. Butler beat C. Allan, 2 and 1; A. Clouston beat A. Rennie, 8 and 7; O. Evans beat H. M.. Dykes, 1 up; A. Radford beat M. Hennessy, 2 and 1.

Manor Park Handicap.—A. S. T. Butler beat W. J. Morley, 2 and 1; J. Ronald beat D. Hood, 3 and 2; Miss D. Fairbrother beat L. J. Smith, 1 up; J. R. Wilson beat1 R. V. Bilderbeck, 3 and 1.

A Flight.—S. Hollobori beat C. Jacobi at the nineteenth; Miss M. Thompson beat J. M. Smith, 5 and 3; Mrs H. Smith beat F. Titterington, 3 and 1; W. Hodges beat W. Packer, 7 and 6.

B Flight.—J. L. Barnard beat R. Mace; E. Edwards beat L. Linley, 6 and 4; K. Mason beat O. Edmonds, 1 up; H. Linley beat E. W. Dawson, 3 and 2. With an excellent card of 39, W. F. Thompson won the 18-hole stableford.

Yesterday morning the 18-hole bogey was won by W. Kincaid, with 1 up, from F. Gruar, all square. During the afternoon the second rounds were played, with the following results:—■

Easter1 Championship.—Clouston beat Butler, 3 and 1; Radford beat Evans, 4 and 3.

Manor Park Handicap.—Ronald beat Butler at the twentieth; Wilson beat Miss D. Fairbrother, 3 and 2. A Flight.—Hollobon beat Miss M. Thompson, 5 and 3; Mrs. H. Smith beat Hodges, 4 and 3.

B Flight.—Edwards beat Barnard, 2 up; Mason beat Linley, 7 and 6. The 18-hole stroke run in conjunction with the second round, was won by K. Mason, 85, 20—65, from P. Tossman, 89, 24—65, on a count-baclc.
