MANY ARRESTS
PROMINENT OFFICIALS

MADRID, March 30,
Prominent people who were unable to escape from Madrid have been arrested, including the .' Lord Mayor, Senor Rafael Henche. President Besteiro remains in quarters in the Ministry of Defence buildings. Special food is sent in, but the nationalists deny that he has been .arrested.
