WELLINGTON ESPERANTO CLUB
The weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club was held on Monday evening. Mr. E. A. Hornblow. who presided, stated that in England increased use was being made of Esperanto in commerce. Some larger firms had experienced Esperantists on their staffs and held evening classes for study, and the language was used for foreign contacts. In view of the approaching departure of the author Sro. E. Lanti, who will leave for South America next month, a farewell evening is to be held at the residence of Mr. P. McCrea, Wilson Street, on Thursday.
After the tuition hour, an enjoyable programme was presented by club members,
