BEATEN BY STABLEMATE
Milford won the President's Handicap at the Birchwood Hunt Meeting last Saturday with a telling run over the last half-mile and he returned a good dividend. His stablemate, Sailing Lady was a pronounced favourite on the strength of brilliant track work, but, although she ran a good race in front for most of the journey, she could not withstand Milford's challenge.
