Mr. R. J. Thomas, formerly of the Public Works Department, Wellington, has arrived in England and has been appointed to the Shipping Department at New Zealand House, states "The Post's" London correspondent. He is filling the position previously held by Mr. D. Vinnicombe, who will shortly go to New Zealand on an "exchange" basis. Mr. Thomas was a member of the New Zealand University Rugby team which toured in Japan in 1935. He is to play for Catford Bridge, to which a number of New Zealanders already belong.
