HUTT PARK IMPROVEMENTS
The Hutt Park Committee has advised the Lower Hutt Borough Council that as a result of a conference between representatives of the council the Wellington Trotting Club, and [ the Hutt Park Committee it was agreed that the construction of a 36ft roadway along the south bank of the Waiwhetu Stream between Seaview Road and Parfc Road was desirable from the point of view of the authorities interested, and the committee requested that the council carry out the work and deal direct with the Trotting Club in the matter of reimbursement of expenditure; the filling to be supplied by the Public Works Department and to be delivered on the job in accordance with an arrangement made by the Hutt Park Committee with the Department. The council last evening decided to proceed with the work subject to certain arrangements being made.
