TEAM FOR ROTORUA
SOUTHLAND SWIMMERS

The following team has been selected to represent Southland in the junior and intermediate swimming championships at Rotorua at the end of the month: —Girls: Joyce Mac Donald, N. Dixon, B. Westerby, S. Brown, and M. Gerrard. Boys: J. Cameron and D. Kirkland.
Competing in the 50 yards' junior girls' backstroke trial, Miss Westerby swam brilliantly, setting up a record of 36 4-ssec, eclipsing the New Zealand record, which was 37 2-ssec.
