SELF-SUFFICIENCY DRIVE

TOKIO, January 10.
Mr. K. Aoki, vice-president of tho National Planning Board, has . presented Cabinet with a three-year plan to expand productiveness. It aims at Japan's independence of foreign supplies in an emergency, and covers fifteen industries, including wool. The plan involves State control, and also subsidies and aims at economic co-op-eration with Japan by Manchukuo and China.
