DEFENCE MINISTER'S REASON

BRUSSELS, December 21,
In seeking emergency procedure in the Senate for a Bill dealing with airraid precautions, the Minister of Defence said that the reason for the request was that the international situation was evolving more and more in a direction hardly favourable to Belgium. The Bill was adopted by 105 votes to 3.
