ANTI-TRUST LAW
VIOLATION IN U.S.A.
WASHINGTON, December 21
A Federal Grand Jury indicted the American Medical Association, three local medical societies, and 21 prominent physicians for violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, which is designed to prevent restraint of trade or commerce. The jury found that the association had taken active steps in opposing experiments in group health care.
Expulsion from membership of the association deprives group doctors of their rights and injures their professional standing,
