YOUTH FOUND SHOT
NOTED BILLIARDS PLAYER'S SON

AUCKLAND,' December 21
Shortly after 8 o'clock tonight, Boyre Clark McConachy, aged 20, a labourer, the -eldest son of Mr. Clark McConachy, Mount Eden, was found shot on a bed with a pea rifle beside him. Mr. McConachy, sen., is the wellknown New Zealand billiards player.
After tea Boyre McConachy, his brother, and their father, went on the back lawn to practise archery. The elder son went back to the house, and not long afterwards his younger brother found him on the bed with a bullet wound below the heart.
The rifle was one usually kept in a wardrobe.
