PIANOFORTE RECITAL
A pleasant evening was spent recently, when the pupils of Miss Ena Connor, L.T.C.L., L.R.S.M., entertained a large and appreciative audience of parents and friends at the Lyceum Club rooms. Some very promising work was heard, and it reflected much credit on both teacher and pupils. The programme was varied in character. Songs were given by Mrs. C. Pengelly and Miss Nona Hood, accompanied by Miss Connor. At the conclusion of the evening, Mrs. H. Tipling congratulated both teacher and. pupils and presented a f large number of certificates to £he successful examination students. Special prizes donated by Miss Connor were won by Nona Hood, Mary Kyle, Pauline Gillies, Erica Holloway, and: Yvonne Tipling. Miss Connor was presented with bouquets as a mark of appreciation.
