NON-STOP FLIGHT ATTEMPT
(Independent Cable Service.) (Received December 14, 9 a.m.) SINGAPORE, December 13. The first of three Short Sunderland flying-boats which were attempting a non-stop flight from Ceylon to Singapore arrived at 11 a.m. today. The second plane landed at Nancowry Island with motor trouble, and the third stopped to pick up the occupants of the disabled plane and then flew on to* Singapore.
