RUGBY, December 12,
The British Air Ministry has announced that 612 recruits joined the Royal Air Force during the past week, compared with 221 for the corresponding week in 1937. This brings the total acceptance of pilots, observers, airmen, and boys since March 1, 1938, to 21,940, compared with 10,681 for the corresponding period of 1937.
