SPORTSMEN'S SERVICE.
The annual sportsmen's service will be held at St. Augustine's Church, Petone. tomorrow, when representatives of the various sports bodies in the Hutt Valley will be present. This annual service was instituted by the previous vicar (Rev. G. V. Gerard), now Bishop of WaiapUj and has been continued by the present vicar, the Rev. H. S. Kenney. Members of the Petone Rowing Club, Petone Cricket Club, Petone Rugby Football Club, and St. Augustine's Tennis Club, will act as sidesmen, and the soloist will be Mr. Ernest Glading.
