Because she loves fresh air, a stafc wart, grey-haired Englishwoman wilj lead 15 adventurers to the Mountains of the Moon, which cross the Equator in East Africa. She is Miss Constancy Warner, of Tonbridge, traveller, country-lover, and East End social worker. This will be the first time that this actual trip will have been done right through; by one party. 1% will be necessary for the travellers ,t<| go more than 2000 miles down the Nile% through country where" elephants, hip* popotami, and rhinoceroses abound.
At the age of 20, Miss Warner was an enthusiastic worker in the East End slums, and she has travelled widely. Her expedition will last three months and it should be full of thrills by boat, car, and rail. The Mountains of the Moon are snowclad and stretcl* for 500 miles.
