Struck by a swing in the play area at Island Bay about 4 p.m. yesterday. James Looner, a schoolboy, of 67 Rhine Street, Island Bay, received injuries to his back. He - was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
When he tripped over a wire on the steamer Middlesex at King's Wharf shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday, Mr. J. McEachern, a waterside worker, of 37 Elizabeth Street, Lower Hutt, fractured his left leg. He was taken to' hospital by the Free Ambulance.
