PROSPERITY?
(To the Editor.}
Sir,—ln Wednesday's "Post" you published a letter from "Experience" asking "What is prosperity" and setting out the positions four business men find themselves in. Here is another. I have been in business for seventeen years. Twelve months ago I employed 40 men and my. two sons and had a weekly pay roll of £250. Today my sons have taken up other avenues of employment and my pay roll has dwindled to £15. This statement can be vouched for by some of our Cabinet Ministers. It would be interesting if other firms with similar experience would publish their version of "pros-perity"—-I am, etc.,
DISILLUSIONED.
