LEVIN TENNIS CLUB
The .> annual meeting of the Levin Lawn Tennis Club was held on Wednesday. There was a good attendance of members. '' The presidents report stated that the club had enjoyed a very successful season, having won the Manawatu Centre's A grade competition, and that the financial position was sound. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr. D. S. Mackenzie; president, Dr. S. J. .Thompson; vicepresidents, Mr. W. Donnelly and Mr. N. M. Thomson; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. R. D. L. Irwin; honorary auditor, Mr. E. S. Crisp; club captain, Miss J. Nicholson; vice-cap-tain, Mr. N. M. Thomson; committee, Mirs. Nl M. Thomson, Miss E. Blackburn, Mies D. Nicholson, Messrs. F. J. C. Wilson, N. Thofnley, J. SteWart; delegate-to the Manawatu Centre, Mr. N. M. Thomson. The official opening will take place on October 8.
