TRAM DAY NOT OVER
AUTHORITATIVE OPINION (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. That for transporting large • crowds In populous areas the electric trolley tram is still superior to the bus is the opinion formed by Messrs. H. H. Bell end K. A. Spencer, general manager and secretary respectively of the Melbourne tramways, who are returning by the Mariposa after investigating (transport systems in England, Scotland, France, Germany, and America. The general move throughout the World was towards a greater use of buses and trolley-buses, said Mr. Bell. **I still think, however, that in populous regions where it is required to ghift the bulk of the people the electric tram is the thing."
