DR. A. G. BUTCHERS'S TOUR

AUCKLAND, This Day,
Having attended the first international conference on correspondence education held in Victoria, British Columbia, Dr. A. G. Butchers returned by the Mariposa today. He is headmaster of the Correspondence School conducted by the New Zealand Education Department. He said he did not feel at liberty to discuss in detail his trip, as he would be presenting a report to the Department. Dr. Butchers visited departments of education, schools, and universities in various States in America and in the provinces of Canada. He investigated the unification of administration of control in the education systems of accrediting for university entrance and facilities and methods for adult education. ' He will leave tonight for Wellington.
