Offerings at the wool sales were 8994 bales, including 5004 bales New Zea- ! land and 6462 were sold. ! A moderate selection met with a good home demand for the large supply of New Zealand crossbreds, otherwise the market is quiet and withdrawals frequent. New Zealand greasy halfbred "Macdonald Downs," sold at 10|d to 12Jd; slipe crossbred lambs, "Awarua," sold at 13d.
