The annual report of the South Otago Freezing Company states that stock dealt with for the past three seasons. 1936-37-38, is as follows:—Sheep and lambs, 281.585, 251,774, 317,223; cattle, 4010, 4009, 2698; pigs, 1036, 784, 620. After making provision for depreciation and transferring £9000 to reserve for income tax, the profit remaining, including last year's balance, is £16.814 0s Ud.

The directors recommend payment of a dividend at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum, which will absorb £6630 10s, and that the balance of £10,183 10s lid be carried forward.
