PROVINCIAL COURTS
MEETING OF REPRESENTATIVES
Important questions'regarding the .proposed 'combined provincial courts are being discussed, at a meeting of representatives of provincial Centennial committees, from both islands^ today. Some time ago the directors of the Exhibition Company had placed before them a ground plan and a volume or artists' sketches of details of the combined courts, the proposal being to present in one great hall a composite picture of the Dominion's progress, industries, and scenic attractions,^ m place of a collection of purely, provincial displays, largely repetitive in arrangement. Since then the Exhibition contractors, Messrs. Fletcher and Love, have built a scale model of the court, showing the general arrangement and proportions and the scenic surrounds, but the small scale does not, of course, permit of any detail in, the provincial pavilions. ~ . _ , ' The meeting today is discussing de-. tails of the court and pavilions, and the proportions of expense which each province will undertake to carry, and the arrangement and execution of the scheme.
